Executive Director

Annamarie Fazzolari

Annamarie joined our center in June 2023. She has an undergraduate degree from Villanova University and earned a Master of Health Administration with Long-Term Care Certificate from Penn State Harrisburg. Annamarie has experience in memory support, activities, volunteer management, marketing, and development from positions in continuing care retirement communities and hospice care. She taught for HACC’s gerontology program for years and served on the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging’s Council on Aging.

Annamarie and her husband, Mike, are the parents of Mark, Grace, Monica, Claudia, and Gianna. She resides in Harrisburg. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking, reading, and being involved in her church’s and children’s activities.

Kim Reese

Kim joined our center in January of 2014. She is a native of Hershey and graduated from Thompson.
Institute. She has worked for PNC Bank, Hershey Entertainment, and in the commercial construction business.

Kim enjoys her grandchildren, photography, travel, volunteering, thrifting, hockey, music, and teaching seniors’ new technology. Kim’s son Josh is in the Air Force and is currently stationed in New Jersey with his wife and two children.

Kathy Giovanniello

Kathy joined the organization in January 2020. She is a native of Hershey and a graduate of Penn State University. She previously worked for the Hershey Company and St. Joan of Arc School.

She was a stay-at-home mom to Dominic and Natalie for many years. Kathy enjoys reading, walking, working out, and hanging out with her family. Kathy lives in Hershey with her husband, Ron.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is composed of both members and community leaders. At our annual holiday meeting or social, potential board members are nominated by our members. If the nominated party agrees to serve on the Board of Directors, the nomination is accepted. Once elected, they serve a three-year term, helping to make important decisions and assist in strategic planning.

Megan Marshall

Megan Marshall has spent more than 16 years in advancing Finance leadership roles at The Hershey Company. She holds an MBA and Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University. Megan is a strong advocate of talent development, diversity, inclusion, and engagement. Within Hershey, she led the Finance Talent Council, which drives meaningful improvements to talent and career
development. She also supports the retention and advancement of women through mentoring and prior service as the co-chair of Hershey’s Women’s Business Resource Group.

Megan resides in Elizabethtown with her husband (Scott), two daughters (Parker and Reese), and their wheaten terrier (Lola).

Ted Seeber

Edward P. (Ted) Seeber, a partner with JSDC Law Offices, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law. Ted is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Elder Law Section and Real Property, Probate, and Estate sections of the Pennsylvania, Cumberland, and Dauphin County Bar Associations.

Ted is active in the community and speaks to many different groups regarding Elder Law and Estate Planning issues. Ted is married with four children.

Betsy Hancock

A native of Hershey, Betsy recently retired after serving for many years in both Washington, D.C., and Harrisburg in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She is a community volunteer, currently serving on the Board of “The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC)”.

Jori Culp

Jori Culp

Jori has served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Leader Center for Active Life since 2021. As a CPA, she serves as an Audit Partner with Smoker Smith & Associates of Hershey. Jori is a graduate of Elizabethtown College.

Jack Bishop

Jack Bishop

retired after 31+ years from The Hershey Company. For the last 7 1/2 years, I served as director of Human Resources for the International Division. Graduate of Susquehanna University, majoring in business administration. Served on the boards of Derry Twp School District, Susquehanna University, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and various finance and investment committees. I have been married to Joan since 1963. Two sons

Shel Parker

After graduating from Williams College, Shel earned a Master’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He became an investment broker and was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the Pittsburgh area. He relocated to Hershey to become the CEO of the Pennsylvania Public Television Network and began volunteering with Meals on Wheels, the People Mover, and the Rotary Club of Hershey.

He considers it a privilege to be a member of the Leader Center Board and to work with a peerless staff and dedicated colleagues.

Jeff Stover

Jeff and his family have lived in Hershey for four generations. Many older residents remember my Great-Grandfather, Monroe “Monty” Stover. He lived to be 103 years old.

Monty was recognized for his career with the Hershey Estates, his friendship with Milton Hershey, and Stover’s Candies. We will always remember him for his delicious caramel popcorn. My family and I continue to make his caramel popcorn for Christmas every year. Twenty years ago, Jeff started his business with Edward Jones, and he has had the privilege of serving the Hershey community since 2002.

Sally Kurtz

A longtime volunteer in the Hershey area, Sally spent her business career in the Electronics Industry with DuPont, AMP and Tyco.  She holds an Engineering degree from Penn State and a Business/Marketing degree from York College. If you recognize Sally, it’s because she has been the resident Pilates Instructor at the Mohler and Leader Center since  2013.  She holds numerous certifications in the Fitness Industry, including Pilates, Indoor Cycling, Yoga and Senior Fitness.  In the winter she teaches skiing at Roundtop Mountain Resort and holds a Level III, Master Certification.

Dr. Andrew Chodos

Dr. Andrew Chodos moved to Hershey in 2003 with his wife, Patrice, and their two children. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and completed his Residency and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. He recently retired after a 30-year career as a clinical cardiologist. Since retiring from medicine, he has enjoyed furniture making and other outdoor pursuits, including biking, hiking, and skiing. He is also taking up flyfishing after receiving equipment as a retirement gift. He coached youth soccer at the Hershey Soccer Club for 10 years, culminating in a U17 PA State final berth.

Andrew is the most recent addition to the Board of Directors at the Leader Center and expresses gratitude for this opportunity. He greatly looks forward to working with the Center to help people in our community connect and discover new passions and interests.

Brenda Berman

Brenda has been a member of the Leader Center for Active Life since 2006 and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2017. She is a native of Hershey and is employed as a contract interior designer and purchasing agent. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys gardening and volunteering at the Leader Center for Active Life.

Doug Berlin

Doug is a native of Hershey and has worked as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley since 1996, including serving as Branch Manager for 10 years.  He works with families and small businesses, providing comprehensive planning and investment strategies to help them meet their investment goals. He holds a BS in Physics from Haverford College, as well as MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Penn State and Georgia Tech respectively. Doug lives in Elizabethtown, PA with his wife Julie Cramer and their seven dogs.

Aura Bunn

Aura M. Hill Bunn retired after 35 years teaching Dramatic Arts, English, and Journalism at Milford High School in Milford, DE, and Palmyra Area School District in Palmyra, PA. Presently, I am a stringer (part-time reporter) at The Sun in Hummelstown.

Marsha Major

Marsha has been a member of Leader Center for Active Life since 2014 and has served as a Board member since 2019. She is a graduate of Ohio University. She is retired from work with the Federal government and Johnson & Johnson and enjoys community volunteering.
