Stay Healthy & Active

Tips to Boost your Health as you age

Healthy aging depends on maintaining your physical, psychological, and cognitive well-being. You can live longer and better by even making tiny adjustments to your everyday routine.

Keeping active, eating healthy, getting enough rest, and visiting the doctor frequently are all ways to maintain your physical health. Engage with loved ones, make an effort to maintain a happy outlook, and engage in activities you find enjoyable to take care of your mental health.

Our Mission

To positively impact our community by promoting healthy aging through social engagement, physical and emotional well-being, civic involvement, creative offerings, and lifelong learning for those over 50 years of age.

Our Impact

The Mohler Senior Center is a place for active adults in Hershey and surrounding communities, to enjoy fitness, educational  opportunities, socialization, community service opportunities, and so much more.  Stop by today to learn more about Dauphin County’s most active senior community center.  Open to individuals 50 and over.

Research shows older adults who participate in senior center programs can learn to manage and delay the onset of chronic disease and experience measurable improvements in their physical, social, spiritual, emotional, mental, and economic well-being.

Today’s senior centers are reinventing themselves to meet the needs and desires of three generations of older adults. Baby Boomers now constitute more than two-thirds of the 50+ population. Senior centers are developing new programs and opportunities for this dynamic generation of older adults and have an eye towards the future with the leading age of Generation X turning 60 in 2025.
